McDougal Coworking was started for one simple reason—a need in the market that no one was meeting. Mike McDougal has been in the real estate industry for over 25 years. He grew a local mom & pop family apartment business into a fully integrated real estate firm with projects in residential, commercial, construction and development over that time. But beginning in 2015, he began a new business venture in McDougal Capital with a focus on fostering economic independence by empowering entrepreneurship. Working with small businesses it became quickly apparent to him that these entrepreneurs were being underserved by the Lubbock real estate market.
Court Place, commonly known as the Lubbock National Bank Building, is one of Lubbock’s classic downtown mid-rise office towers. The building is conveniently located across the street from the Lubbock County Courthouse with various suite sizes and layouts available. Lease rates are full service with building amenities including a common-area conference room and a common break area available for use. 2018 building upgrades include new main passenger elevators and fully renovated HVAC system with fully electronic controls. Located at Main Street and Texas Avenue, the building is one block from the United States Federal Building and less than 2 miles from Texas Tech University. Quick access available via I-27 or Marsha Sharp Freeway.
